Andrea Rossi answered a challenge by a millionaire in the name of Dick Smith in a very straightforward way. Dick Smith’s challenge was to subject Andrea Rossi’s cold fusion devices into independent testing and if the results are positive, Dick Smith will give Andrea Rossi one million. The currency of the one million, whether in Euro or US Dollars, was not mentioned though.
In answer to this rather outdated and out-of-place challenge, the cold fusion devices inventor said:
“I am the CEO of Leonardo Corporation and recently, Leonardo Corporation became a property of a trust of investors to whose attorneys I have to answer. “
This means, even if Andrea Rossi would like to prove his product to Dick Smith – which is a remote possibility – he will have to consult his investors represented by their respective attorneys. He can no longer make decisions about Leonardo Corporation independently.
Furthermore, Andrea Rossi explained why he can no longer oblige requests and challenges to prove the validity of his cold fusion devices owing to the fact that his company is now busy preparing for the mass production of low cost, domestic products which is scheduled to hit the market by autumn or winter of this year. He said:
“The opinion of them (the attorneys) is that this stunt (Dick Smith’s challenge) is not serious and that our technology does not to be proven by a stunt, but by a regular operation by the customers. We have to work on manufacturing lines to make reliable and economic our products.”
This is a very clear message to people like Dick Smith, who until this moment are still skeptic about Andrea Rossi’s cold fusion devices. It is quite ridiculous to dangle money to a man who have persevered financial setbacks and has reached the point of manufacturing the product which was heavily ridiculed upon.
