There have been mixed criticisms surrounding the numerous secrets of Andrea Rossi’s cold fusion devices ever since it was introduced to the public. In fact, the whole thing about e-cat secrets has immediately become an easy target to negative publicity. Until now, the Italian inventor refuses to reveal the exact location of the factory of his technology. Other than Rossi, there is no mention of other significant names who work with him and a lot more. It is therefore difficult that US based company Leonardo Corporation is working on the mass production of Rossi’s home-based e-cat units of 10 KW.
It cannot be avoided if some people are doubtful of the mass production of cold fusion devices because of the lack of significant evidence from Rossi and his team. Wild rumors and speculations take centerstage every time Rossi releases statement regarding the development of his controversial invention. It is good that Rossi does not give them so much importance and instead focuses on the real work at hand. It seems to appear that he is not really concerned whether people believe in him or not. In his official blog Journal of Nuclear Physics, Rossi made the following comments when asked to provide photos of him in his factory:
“Within hours the place would be discovered and our safety and security should be jeopardized. The Puppeteers would unleash their snakes. We want to work in peace.”
For the commercialization of cold fusion devices, safety and security definitely play a very important role. With the fuss going around the device, it is likely that many people would have no second thoughts in getting further details once Rossi shows a photo of him. With the advent of technology, tracing his factory’s location would be easy and fast. Rossi’s decision to keep everything in secret is indeed a good business plan.
