In Switzerland, it’s forbidden to sell the smart Apple Watch because of the logo

In Switzerland, until December of this year due to non-compliance with copyright authorities prohibited the sale of smart Apple Watch.

In 1985, Leonard company received a patent, according to which no one has right to sell their watches in Switzerland if they depict an apple or an inscription related to this fruit. The duration of the patent ends on December, 5 of this year.

In practice, this means that either Apple will have to produce in Switzerland special version of its Smart Watch – without the logo or not to begin sales in this country until early December.

Recall that smart Apple Watch will be sold on April, 27 in nine countries around the world.
