Review: Oakley Radar White (Positive Red Polarized Path Lens)

These all-around performers blew away the competition in nearly every category. The frames are comfortable and two nosepiece-size options assure a great fit. Meanwhile, the optics are top-notch. Oakley’s proprietary HDO lens technology sounds like a lot of marketing hoopla, but proved itself on hot stretches of blacktop where it cut the glare, while allowing us to enjoy the beauty of roadside wildflowers. The only downside: While the lenses are the most scratch-resistant of the bunch, if you do manage to mar them, you’ll see significant gaps in light protection.
