Sony has integrated Bluetooth-speaker into a LED lamp

“Let there be lighted music!” – decided Sony and announced (so far only in Japan) a new product that combines the LED-lamp and Bluetooth-speaker. New items can be used screwing the LED instead of the usual lamp.

LED Light Bulb Speaker has a luminous flux of 360 lumens (a little weaker than the 40-watt incandescent lamp), and has a built-in speaker power of 2 watts. The gadget can be controlled from a smartphone via the app or via the supplied single console.

In addition to the protocol Bluetooth 3.0 (profiles A2DP, AVRCP) lamp-column supports NFC, which facilitates interfacing with mobile devices. Sales of LED Light Bulb Speaker will begin on May, 23 and the price is the equivalent of 200 dollars in yen. Sony has not yet spoken about the plans to supply the lamp outside the “native” market
